Ramiro Esparragoza, DDS, is an advanced general and cosmetic dentist at Gables Sedation Dentistry in Miami, Florida. Dr. Esparragoza was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela for his dental education.
He moved to the United States with the love of his life, Natalia, and they made their first home in New York, where he got an early acceptance for the doctoral program in dental surgery (DDS) at New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. During his time there, Dr. Esparragoza was a member of NYU Dental Faculty Practice, an honor program for outstanding students.
Following his studies, he relocated to Florida to receive his specialty training in general dentistry at the University of Florida. He also completed training in intravenous (IV) and oral sedation at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation at the Nash Institute for Dental Learning and The Dawson Academy, as well as endodontics at Stephen Buchanan’s Dental Education Laboratories.
He is certified in advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS). In addition, he is a member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Esparragoza is blessed to be with his family in Florida and have the opportunity to help people in the South Florida community. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his three children and playing sports and musical instruments.
Jorge Fornaris, DMD, is a dental implant specialist at Gables Sedation Dentistry in the Coral Gables neighborhood of Miami, Florida. Dr. Fornaris was born in Holguin, Cuba. At the age of 16, his family came to Miami in pursuit of a better life.
Dr. Fornaris studied molecular biology at University of South Florida. After graduating, he was selected to join a few top dental schools, but decided to pursue his acceptance at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He finished his studies at the top of his class and was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. He also received the Robert G. Levine Award for “Outstanding Student.”
Upon finishing his formal education, Dr. Fornaris moved back to South Miami for his residency training in general dentistry at the University of Florida.
He also had specialized training in oral and intravenous (IV) sedation at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, implant surgery and prosthetics at the Misch Resnik Implant Institute and the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, LANAP at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, advanced bone grafting at the Pikos Institute, as well as full mouth rehabilitation at the Nash Institute for Dental Learning.
Dr. Fornaris is certified in basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS). He is also a member of American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Fornaris has held fellowships at the ICOI as well as the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Fornaris enjoys boating, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Eitan Gross is an Ivy League educated Dentist Anesthesiologist and completed his anesthesiology residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Prior to completing his advanced residency in anesthesiology, Dr. Gross received his DMD degree from the prestigious Ivy League university, the University of Pennsylvania, where he received honors while working at their clinic for medically compromised patients. In his free time, Dr. Gross enjoys traveling, scuba diving and spending time with family.
This unique anesthesiology residency included rotations in internal medicine and pediatric medicine. The remaining years of the residency included providing hospital based general anesthesia at NYU Lutheran Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma center in New York, as well as mobile anesthesia training in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Gross is board certified in Dental Anesthesiology as well as certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and basic life support (BLS). Dr. Gross lectured at Nova University and has also conducted extensive research on the effects of common anesthetic medications on children.
