Instruments now used in procedures are faster, stronger and fueled by high-torque, giving dentists precise control over instrument motion in the mouth.

• Ultrasonic Instruments

Ultrasonic instruments produced vibrations to clean the root, limiting obstruction on the surrounding area.

The apex, or end of the root, is what needs dental cleaning during root canal procedures. An electronic apex locator finds the root’s end through sound waves and guides the dentist there throughout the procedure. This allows all the infection to be removed from the root.

• Tooth Filling

Dentists can now use gutta percha, an antibacterial tooth filling material that more extensively fills the space. Non-allergenic dental sealers are now available for sealing the space after fill. A sturdy seal promotes quick, reliable healing for the tooth and canal.
